Program portfolio management involves the definition, planning, assessment, prioritization, and budgeting of project proposals and programs. The Program Portfolio Management Module in planningIT is used to assign defined projects to programs and conduct bottom up and top-down budget analysis.

The Program Portfolio Management module displays a report (Gantt chart) showing all projects that belong to the Project Analysis group with reference to their time dimension. Additionally, it shows project evaluations relating to costs, resources and the time dimension and highlights project milestones.
